The greatest attraction for tourists visiting surroundings of Leba are moving dunes in the Slovinski National Park. The Park was created in order to protect seaside lakes, swamps, peat bogs, seaside forests and above all Gardeñsko-£ebska spit with unique moving dunes.
To reach the Park you have to cover 1,5 km to arrive to small place Rabki. Further you can cover the route by going through the beach or forest path that leads through the Helska spit between the lake and the Baltic Sea.
You can reach dunes from Rabki on your own or rented bicycle or in a battery-powered carriage. After covering 6 kilometres you will reach the end of the road and to the dunes that are called white mountains because of the colour of sand. Its highest hill is £êcka dune (approximately 40 metres above the sea level) from which there is a beautiful view on dunes, Lebsko lake and the Baltic Sea.
Through the dunes we will get at the beach from which we will come back to Leba. Persistent tourists after covering 10 kilometres of the beach can reach Czolpinska dune or Czolpino village.
